2008 Teesing systems and General Motors Belgium join forcesThe Phill displayed on the Autosalon by GM in BrusselsTeesing Systems, the supplier of the home refuel installations for natural gas better known by the name Phill, is expanding his activities abroad to Belgium in the year 2008.
Driving on CNG, compressed natural gas, is becoming more and more familiar within the Netherlands and it seems that the virus is now to be found with our southern neighbours in Belgium. GM Belgium ordered 50 Phill’s and will use them in the same succesfull way as GM Netherlands did last year. 25 Phill’s will go to dealers for promotional activities for the models Opel Zafira and Opel Combo. The other 25 Phill’s will be a give away for the first people who will order an CNG model of Opel. The installation company Gasotec will install the Phill’s within the Belgium market. Gasotec will be trained by the Dutch company E.meurs, who has a lot of experience with installing Phill’s within the Dutch market. After the training Gasotec will be able to install the units independent. Compressed natural gas is the environmental fuel who is going to help with the diminishing of air pollution. However the infrastructure of public refuelling points for CNG is minimal the Netherlands as in Belgium. The Phill, as home refuelling unit, offers the solution to this problem and makes it possible for everyone to drive on the much cheaper CNG in relation to the other fossil fuels. Back to overview |
